Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before she made her first amateur appearance at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her triumph at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She knocked out all her opponents within the first round. Aspen returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen an unanimity loss and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's amateur career. Ladd rebounded from her defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her to secure a first-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to beat McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd did not weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in 2nd round via TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the final match with the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina as she ground-and-pound pounded her for an TKO win in the second round. Ladd remained in the lead, and won another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd defeated Evinger in the first round, and was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks to win her first major fight. Ladd's win was a majority decision, and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award went to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and end Ladd and her winning streak. The third time she fought on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was lost by majority decision.
