Zazie Olivia Beetz was born Berlin in 1991. Her father was an German Cabinet Maker who immigrated into the United States following the fall of Berlin Wall. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high-school as Beetz. Beetz She graduated from LaGuardia in 2007 was a student at Skidmore College and studied French. She started auditioning right following graduation, and she was then offered the part in Atlanta. Beetz is a native of in Berlin and was raised by German-American parents as well as an African American mother living in New York, spoke both German as well as English in her home. Zazie has performed in theaters in the community and in the stage of New York since her childhood. Zazie discovered that she enjoyed acting while at high school. Zendaya's Disney Channel Breakout Role Zendaya's dancing skills certainly paid off. She was finally cast in her breakthrough role as Rocky Blue, along with co-star Bella Thorne, on the hit show Shake It Up. Zendaya's love of eating meat started at age 11 after she visited the local slaughterhouse while on an outing with her dad. PEOPLE stated that she had said: "I thought all those animals were horrible, getting crammed into the place and waiting for slaughter. I was shocked to discover that's where I'd been getting my meat!" She's been eating predominantly plant-based food ever since.
