My son played inside a playpen, while I worked 12-hour days cleaning the floors, and taking down the wallpaper. Ha! All was starting to come together but it wasn't quite finished. A majority of those calling me were from those who attended one of the furniture open house events. After a while I started taking on clients at my pace. In no time, I was managing numerous accounts as well as a home renovations business. Had you told me my company would become an idea for the DIY Network show, I would probably have been astonished. As I reflect on the situation and think about it, I laugh.
